Workers' Compensation
Oregon workers’ compensation laws require that your employer, or your employer's insurance company, compensate you or your family, for injuries or death that may occur while you are working. You may be entitled to:
- Weekly benefits while you are temporarily totally disabled and unable to work.
- Payment of your medical expenses.
- Weekly payments or a lump sum payment for partial or total disability resulting from a work-related injury.
What should I do if I am injured?
After seeking medical treatment, report the injury immediately to your employer. Submit an 801 Form to your employer. Tell the doctor you see that your injury is work related so the necessary paperwork can be completed for your workers’ compensation claim.
Kryger Alexander can assist you in navigating the workers’ compensation claims process. We advocate for your rights as an injured worker and ensure you receive appropriate medical treatment.
